To obtain a Jordanian Driver's Licence, a Jordanian is required by the licensing authority to submit documented proof of training in a ‘driving school'.The RACJ strongly recommends that you take lessons from one of our Approved Driving Instructor.Our high standard of training increases your driving skills and competence way beyond the skills needed to pass the driving tests.The RACJ Club also has women instructors to provide for women trainees who prefer a female instructor.
RACJ Training Cars
Our aim is to make you a skillfull and competent driver. As a trainee or a licensed driver, your competence and driving skills ensure your safety and that of others.At the RACJ Driving school, we selected special training cars that are easy to handle and manoeuvre by our trainees . For your safety and that of others, our standard training cars include features such as dual controls, tinted glass, seat belts and power steering.
The Drivers Licensing Authority requires all drivers to pass their practical driving test on a car with stick shift. Those who prefer automatic transmission can do their test on Automatic transmission cars and the licence will be limited to such cars.For the convenience of persons with special physical needs, the RACJ has specially equipped cars but you need to make advanced reservations for your lessons.

RACJ Advanced Driving Course
The RACJ Club houses on its grounds Jordan's first and only ‘‘Skid Pan''. The Advanced Driving Course enables drivers to acquire new driving skills and techniques, particularly driving on wet surfaces or in slippery conditions.The Advanced Driving Course on the RACJ Club Training Track is designed to enhance drivers' capabilities, skills and control over their cars. Over the years, participants came from Jordan, UAE, Algeria, Syria,Tunis and Others.
